Blame It On Pinterest

I blame this...

And this...

And this...

 ...on Pinterest !

You’ve heard of Pinterest
Of course you have!
It’s a fun social photo sharing site
with lots of eye candy (pictures
that you arrange on virtual pinboards.
With Pinterest
gone are the days of tearing out magazine pages
(of tips, recipes, decorating ideas, etc.
that you stuff in drawers or notebooks for future reference.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Pinterest!
My problem with Pinterest is that I want to do it ALL
Craft every project ...
bake every cake ...
decorate every room ...
etc., etc., etc.

And that, my friends, is why I am the proud owner of a vintage gumball machine!
I saw this one on Pinterest and thought it was such a clever way to display buttons!

And, of course, I had to buy the darling little wooden frame pictured above
... it’s the perfect size to do this (I found this idea on Pinterest, too):

Have I hung my little frame yet?
:::hanging my head in shame:::
No! But it’s going to look sweet when I do!!

And the vintage white Christmas tree?
I wish you could have seen the look on hubby’s face when I told him I needed that!
But when ( and that’s the key word!! ) I decide to make a 6-foot tall snowman out of it,
he’s going to be so impressed!!

Do you think I need a Pintervention?
Be honest with me....

Happy Weekend!
♥ Vicki

you are not alone. I just spent the last ten minutes sidetracked by you, pinning your pretty pictures and letting my morning coffee get cold.

Hi Vicki- I'm a Pinterestaholic too! Just discovered it several days ago and I lost the same amount of time just engulfed by it! It's just WOw! No intervention needed! It's all good! Hugs!

I never got around to making the snowman tree (:::sigh:::)...but I have seen large snowman heads at Hobby Lobby!

I have found I spend more time finding things to do (& pinning them) than actually doing any of them! I think paper mache would be an easy way to make the snowman head, as for the hat...
