I'd like to pretend that I'm WAY ahead of the game...

thinking ahead...

on the ball...

but nope, that's simply not the case.

these snow guys were a special request made ...

Rolodex-ing

 

It's still pretty chilly here in Texas ...

so I've spent the last couple of days 

dreaming of the seashore!

 

My dreams spilt over onto the Rolodex cards

I created for a swap I'm participating in.

If I close my eyes ...

I can almost hear the seagulls.

Something I made!

 

 

I first spotted moss monograms on Pinterest { my guilty pleasure! } ...

and I promptly decided to make one for my front door.

 

 

There are plenty of tutorials on the web { just Google it } 

... but I followed this one.

I'm not sure why I decided on this particular tutorial 

because it meant I had to purchase a glue gun.

 

Yep, you heard right! I don't own a glue gun.

Well, now I do ... but I didn't before.

 

Anyhow, to make a long story short

{ I won't bore you with how I ended up with 3rd degree burns on two of my fingers ...

another reason why I don't ~ didn't ~ own a glue gun! },

I am happy with how my moss monogram S turned out!

And the good news is,

I'm beginning to get the feeling back in my burnt fingers!!
